s1.e3 = Kyle

I appreciated the recap, since it's been two weeks...

I enjoyed the montage about William (Kyle Randall's bio-dad) on the bus and how his writing slowly deteriorated.  I felt like the song fit nicely, but I haven't looked it up yet to listen again.

Kate's singing was pretty, and I lol'd for reals when she popped Toby in the face for scaring her.  I wonder what the pancakes taste like...

I've seen spoilers somewhere, but doesn't Bec know about William?  Didn't she look him up and tell him to stay away?  Hmmm.  I wonder when the truth will come out.  Whelp, didn't have to wait too long - she saw him across the street as they leave the hospital with the babies!!

Same song for the montage with the babies, and then boom! silence. I liked that transition.

A bit weird that the doctor offered to watch the babies, but very sweet.  I had to remind myself that this was pre-cell phone days and Jack can't send a text to Rebecca to say he's taking a nap.

Kate singing "Time after Time" over the other story lines was very shiver-y...  'Second banana to your brother' = :(   Reminds me of "Love, Actually" where she picks her brother over the cute guy with glasses.

It just clicked that his name is Randall, not Kyle... duh!  Oh, he has the poetry book on the shelf, by the pic of his siblings!  <3

  1. Blues Run the Game:

Catch a boat to England baby
    Maybe to Spain
    Wherever I have gone
    Wherever I've been and gone
    Wherever I have gone
The blues are all the same
    Send out for whiskey mama
    Send out for gin
    Me and room service babe
    Me and room service honey
    Me and room service
Well we're living a life of sin
    When I'm not drinkin' honey
    You are on my mind
    When I'm not sleepin' babe
    When I ain't sleepin' mama
    When I'm not sleepin'
Well you know you'll find me crying
    Try another city babe
    Another town
    Wherever I have gone
    Wherever I've been and gone
    Wherever I have gone
    The blues come followin' down
    Livin' is a gamble baby
    Lovin's much the same
    Wherever I have played and
    Whenever I've thrown those dices
    Wherever I have played
The blues have run the game
    Maybe tomorrow honey
    Somewhere down the line
    I'll wake up older
    So much older mama
    I'll wake up older
And I'll just stop all my trying
Catch a boat to England baby
    Maybe to Spain
    Wherever I have gone
    Wherever I've been and gone
    Wherever I have gone
The blues are all the same
